Hi guys..

Well Ive been reading some of the diaries/blogs in this part of the forum and decided to create my own as feel it'll help me keep tabs on my finances. Will also be reading and keeping up with the other blogs here too so hopefully we can inspire each other! :)

Okay well a bit about me. Im 24 and have a 4 year old DS.

Myself and OH were TTC but have decided to stop and try again next year and save up for a family holiday abroad next year instead. We've booked to go to Ibiza next May. So need to be earning/saving as much as poss. And also will be watching what I eat [well TRYING!!] and hopefully tone up a bit in time for then!!! Ahh!!

So here goes nothing.. :)

  • Hey I love online comps too, :j I have won so much lately and it stops me spending and it is a free hobby (i only enter online or free text comps).

We sound not too unsimilar by the way, I am 25 and have a 5 year old son lol, but not with his dad anymore.

Good luck with your posting what you have been spending lol.

I am saving for a house, and decided to put a spend diary etc here too because at least it is easy to find, but it seems not so many people come onto this board I guess. :rotfl:

  • Yes, doing things with the EX OH can be weird huh. Mine comes and stays since we live 2 hours away now, and I invited him camping with us in Jan next year. Just keeps him involved in their lives though doesn't it

Besides, in small doses and on holidays we can handle each other fine :rotfl:

Long term day in day out is another story

Sounds like you have been good with your no spend days lately :T
