"A SPATE of credit card fraud was reported in Chingford this week as users of Morrisons petrol station noticed unusual withdrawals from their bank accounts.
After paying for petrol with their credit cards, the customers noticed withdrawals in Australian dollars were being made.
It's believed the cards were cloned at the petrol station and then used abroad several times over a short period"

If you've used your credit or debit card in this Branch of Morrisons recently?
1. Check your statements.
and if you have used your card there and you did use your PIN,
2. Change your PIN, OR get yourself Chip & Signature Cards.
Other Petrol Staion hit recently was in WYCHBOLD. EWELL, ANDOVERSFORD.

Warning possible credit card fraud - Morrisons petrol station
Just want to make people aware and warn them when filling up at Morrisons petrol station and using their credit card.
I recently used my Tesco credit card instore and receipt came out with some of my credit card numbers crossed. Fine not a problem. No security issue.
However, I then filled up at Morrisons petrol station and paid in kiosk using my same Tesco credit card and the receipt I was handed had my full 16 digit numbers, start and expiry date on show and not obscured.
I know many people just throw their receipts away as soon as they leave the kiosk but this is an alladins cave for many a fraudster.
After recent reports of fraud at a number of petrol stations I think we should be very careful about discarding receipts.
I phoned my local store manager and informed him about this and he said he would investigate this but thinks it is the card provider who is at fault as the machine takes the card details when processing payment. I also informed Tesco credit card fraud department also.
Can anyone let me know if your Morrisons petrol kiosk obscure credit card numbers or is this only an issue with my local, and also is it just this particular credit card (Tesco Platinum Mastercard)
I posted the above post in middle of June as this is an incident which happened to me....................I think we should all check and retain all our reciepts as they appear to show the full credit card numbers and expiry dates...[EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com?subject=Reporting post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11675667"]

Card readers which may have been tampered with were still used.
The devices, which were reportedly stolen and then returned to the store, were not immediately checked or replaced.

Card receipts, along with ANYTHING showing personal details, are shredded in this house once they have been checked and dealt with. I wouldn't even consider the idea these days of throwing in the bin anything containing personal details of any type.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
