Globespan or XL

Am considering a holiday in Majorca in October flying from Glasgow.

Globespan and XL both have the same holiday at around the same price but my sister is worried about flying with Globespan as they have a terrible reputation.

I agree with her about this, but from what I can see XL aren't much better.

Opinions please?

No experience of Globespan, but I've flown with XL twice and never had a problem. The planes are fine, we didn't have any delays and I will definitely fly with them again.

XL everytime. They may not be the best, but they are far better than Globespan!

I've travelled with Globespan quite a few times, haven't really had an problems with them. Their reputation at the moment isn't great but haven't heard any new storeis about them for quite a while

Not trying to scaremonger; but if we want news stories, Globespan are currently being prosecuted by the CAA for breaching the air law; in particular endangering an aircraft and its occupants.

This of course relates to an isolated incident, and doesn't mean every Globespan flight is unsafe, but I'd spend my money with people that have a better atitiude to running an airline.
