You get charged hidden charges & some not hidden charges. Not really a benefit - except to Barclays!

Better by far - as you have the time to do this - apply for a Nationwide Flex account with debit & credit card. No charges to withdraw money on debit card, buy items on credit card with no charges & the best exchange rate you'll find in resort/bank/exchange companies.

Never worry about exchange rates again OR buying currency unless you go somewhere totally off the beaten track where there are no ATM's.
