Will executor retaining money from daughter

Hi
My ex wife died last year
Our two daughters who inherited equally from the estate.
There were 3 executor the 2 daughters (lets call them Roseage 28 and Tulip age 26) and the mothers sister (lets call her Doris).
Doris held the purse strings. Because Rose and Tulip did not always see eye to eye.
Tulip went to live with Auntie Doris because she could not remain in the family home with the tension between her and her sister. The family home was sold. 2 days after the sale of the house Aunty Doris's husband told Tulip that they did not like the way she was treating their home like a hotel and suiting herself as to whether she came back at night or stayed with friends. Her worldly goods were left outside their house at 7.0am in the morning.
Tulip lived on peoples good will until the house she was buying completed 2 months later. (I live 130 miles away and therefore I could not provide her with accommodation as she has a job.) sister Rose kept her head down.
Aunty Doris split the money from the sale of the house equally and other bits and pieces. But since then she has given Rose a further £150 but nothing to Tulip.
Tulip has asked for her money but nothing has materialised.
I have sent an e-mail to Aunty Doris as 1 do not have a phone number - the email has been ignored.
What should Tulip do?

Has Tulip put her request in writing? I see that she doesn't get on with her sister, but maybe asking her if she knows why things have been done differently may shed some light on it? Maybe "Aunt Doris" felt that the money was "owed" from the period that Tulip was living there?
As an adult, I think it is up to her to try & resolve this, even if it means biting the bullet & writing the £150 off as a small loss.0 -
Maybe Aunt Doris had lent money to Tulip, or has retained it to cover a phone bill.
If Tulip has a job, then why did she need to live on people's goodwill, surely she should have been paying rent.
For £150 I wouldn't get involved.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
i agree, for £150 it isn't worth putting yourself in the middle as it sounds like you will only get your head bitten off by some/all of them!:happyhear0

Sorry by goodwill I meant some where to sleep while her house purchase was going through. Most rentals are for a minimum of 6 months she only needed 6-8 weeks.
She was paying an agreed rent for the time she stayed with Aunt Doris.
Phone calls where made by mobile so it is not that
Some good points raised in the replies thanks

sometimes principles need to be put to one side for an easy life.
this is blatantly gonna drag on for months causing stress & arguments all for the sake of £150.
