Having left a 5 star service thread for this company, I'm now rectifying that daft situation.
To recap, I cancelled in March. TThey coninued to bill, I emailed regarding cancellation, as 0870 number had average 20 mins wait.
Got debt collectors letters and calls. Paid £100 to avoid being taken to court.
They then reconnected me and started teh bills again.
Eventually got an apology and teh promise of a refund.
Am now getting bills again, albeit smaller, telling me I'm in credit, but it has been reduced by the amount hey want to charge.
Am very cross. They are clealry all mad.

I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Sounds very much like 3 and o2 which I have had the same problems with. Wouldnt touch either with a barge pole, o2 got a debt collecting agency onto me after giving written notice (thank god I kept a copy)and when I phoned and ask for an itemised bill I was told that was my responsibility.....I pointed out that if they wanted to take me to Court then they would have to provide proof of debt and I had all the correspondences relating to this proving that I had a. given notice and b. on several times requested an itemised bill to settle the outstanding debt. I hung the phone up and then wrote to them explaining all of this and after 10 days phoned the debt collectors who had handed everything back to o2 as they wouldnt take the case.
Firstly know your rights i.e. if they threaten to take you to court then provide evidence before going to court proving that you have played by the book. Secondly when knowing your rights do not take any crap like I did, state you gave written notice and have proof of this, prove anything you can that gives the impression that you went to every possible length to resolve the situation. When all else fails threaten to sue for compensation for your time in proving that they have been incompetent and for harrassment.0
