Formula 1 : Room booking

Does anyone know how I stand on this?
Travelling by car to France for a holiday in August and decided to book a room at a Formula 1 hotel on the way out (20th) and the way back (31st), to break the journey up.
Went on to the F1 website and searched for hotels and found one hotel that had rooms for 1 euro per night:D , on both the 20th and 31st August. Obviously booked both of these straight away, confirmed by credit card and got email confirmations for both showing they were 1 euro each (plus 40 cents tax), so 2.80 euros for the two rooms.
I have now had an email from F1, saying that there was a technical problem with the website and that the rooms should have been 31 euros per night and it was a breakfast that should have been 1 euro.
They are asking if I want cancel the rooms or pay the 31 euros for each room.
Am I within my rights to say they were advertised at 1 euro and I have confirmations for them at that price, so that's what I should pay, or are they now allowed to change the price?
Thanks in advance.
Pete

Its an error and the offered to cancel your room and not take a charge, cant say fairer than that0

You knew, or guessed it was an error, and have now been unlucky, they have offered a refund. I guess it is a french site so you may have to look into french law.0

Although one pound a night would be a lot of monies to spend for an F1... AVOID LIKE PLAGUE
