Empty cereal boxes???

Can anyone shed some light as to why this empty weetabix box is worth so much?

maybe if you have the toys, getting the box will drammatically improve to price?

I could imagine that someone in the props department of a television or film company might this sort of thing for a period piece.

You don't even get the product! it would be cheaper to buy 2 packs @ £1.79 each than a 48 pack @ £3.80!

would they not have had "WEETABIX" in a period piece? they are usually victorian age!

There have been quite a few of these on recently and the DrWho one was quite high when I noticed it apparently collectors of Dr Who ,Star Trek, Sindy etc., want ALL related advertising material? Weird eh!

A period piece just means set in a specific time, not necessarily Victorian, some dramas are ambiguous about when they are set, others are very clear on dates requiring a props department to have to ensure that every item seen on camera is in keeping with that time.
