Hello
everyone, I am relativley new to this forum but not to this site. Money Saving Expert has been a great center for advice in the past several months. So I would like to give something back.
I came across a project called Platform 2 several months ago on BBC breakfast, I didnt really think about it again until recently. Platform2 is a global volunteering scheme for 18-25 year olds in the UK who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to volunteer in a developing country.
and they are looking for people to start immediatly. This project is totally free, all they ask is that you are in a position that you could not normally afford such an experience and that you are also willing to share your experience via any platform.
Its really easy just check out the website www.myplatform2.com
and fill in the application (again its really easy to fill out)
They need people to start straight away,
Volunteers can travel to India, peru, Malawi, South Africa or Ghana. This is great cos its totally free and at the same time its helping devloping communties.
Please share this with as many people as possible, I think everyone should have the chance of such an experience. If you have any quries please dont hesitate to messgae me or if not contact Platform 2 and they would be more than willing to help.
Thanks
