Overnight at stanstead

Hello, Does anyone know of a cheap B&B near Stanstead please?
I have about 40 mins to get off one plane and get on another one, don't think there is much chance of that (unless someone knows different) so maybe best to just relax and catch another on the following day!
Thank you Carmen x

40 mins wont be enough time especially if you are collecting and rechecking in baggage, even if flights are on time so you are probably wise to stay overnight. Try https://www.hotelscomparison.com for hotels near airport.

It is possible to sleep at Stansted if you're a diehard moneysaver and come prepared. I've done it and felt quite safe, but you need to be early enough to claim a row of seats to stretch out on. See http://www.sleepinginairports.net/ for how others rate the facilities.
I understand if you're not quite that skinflinty though!

    Hi,

Try Bridgefoot Cattery (yes, that's right, a cattery, but they do B & B as well - no worries, the place is clean and you would not even know there are any cats there - of course I arrived at night so could not see much of the surrounding area, but can vouch for the fact that there is no smell or noise from any cats!). The taxi ride to Stansted was less than £5 - you may be able to get a free lift from the owners if your flight leaves at a decent hour (mine didn't, unfortunately, but they were happy to arrange the taxi for me at least!). Can't remember the charge for the room but it was reasonable, ensuite, clean, and there was a self-serve breakfast of cereal, toast etc.

They have a website but I only have the phone number right now - it is 01279 871890 or mobile 07775 943601.

    Hope this helps!
