Please, Please Please can someone give a dog a home????

I know this is not money saving and I may be booted off here for doing this, but my brother is devestated. He has to give up his dog.
He and his wife have split up, he has a loverly black and white terrier cross dog, medium size. Very good with children, well trained, a bit iffy with other dogs but needs a strong person to control her. She is named Jersey, she is 6 years old.
My brother doesn't want to put her down but can't find a dogs home to take her either. Does anyone know where she can be taken to be rehomed?????
Does anyone know of somewhere in Wales?

If they have space they will take her in until they find her a new home (they never put a healthy dog to sleep)

Thanks but he's tried every dog home from here to swansea.
It's ok , we found a friend to tke her, thankfully.
