Granite Hearth Sealer for surface scratches

Hi,
I have purchased a slab of black/ midnight blue granite that is polished to use for a hearth, however when I purchased it, it was wet and when it dried some light surface scratches appeared.
I am hoping that someone could advise of a sealer, or polish that could be used to stop the scratches being displayed.
I have read on some forums, about lithofin, and aquamix, but I am also aware that it is important to use the correct one for the stone, or it could end in disaster.
Many Thanks in advance.
