    I can cope with the birth (I'm quite good at that :D), and I suppose I can just about cope with the conception :rolleyes: but pregnancy is horrid, and soooooo long. The only reason I vaguely enjoyed my pregnancy with Natasha is because I came on here to moan about all the aches, pains and hormones!

    I could cope with a 3 month pregnancy, maybe.

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    hey, you remember my rant about MIL saying she couldn't look after joe anymore?
    Well, she has given up having other grandson on a Monday, quit her once a week going round to my friends house to look after her little one (she has done this for nearly 8 years!) and she's in her early 60's. XOH seems to think she may be going into a depression or something.
    Made me feel better that she is doing the same to her other grandkids as well. Sad I know

    well said that woman!!! Pregnancy sucks, I hate it, every flippin bit of it :D I've had the most incredible pain in my hips the past week which isn't showing any signs of easing. So knowing my luck that's me for the next 4 months.

    Ouch, that sounds painful Toto - is it sharp, SPD type pain? There was a half-day course you could go on at my hospital, to teach you how to not make the pain any worse through the rest of your pregnancy and the birth.

    Ouch! you have just brought back painful memories of SPD. painkillers, a back belt and crutches!! Ouch ouch ouch.

    Never again. And yes I said that 13 years ago and look at me.

    Anyhow. Had a good day at work, managed a full day without looking on here.. Then been for a run (4 miles - I think!) and no falling off the SW wagon at all - YET!
