Mild steel zinc plated or stainless nuts and bolts for automotive use?

Zinc plated and Copper slip grease is my preferred method.Happy chappy0

Stainles steel bolts should not be used where they are stressed. I.e. stainless steel bolts are not as strong and High Tensile Steel.0

look at the grade on the head of the original...you can use whatever for holding lights, bumpers , rocker covers etc but brakes and suspension need the proper high grade ones usualy stamped 10.9 on the head or similar
what parts do you have in mind? a dollop of copper slip on the threads and then some waxoil over the head/nut should make sure it will come undone again0
