I haven't been on the new thread as i'm trying to cut down but gave in and have only just read about's the sad news i really don't know what to say because nothing i say will help but just to let jill know that i am thinking of her and all her family, i am so sorry for your loss.

I do some work for Macmillan and marie curie cancer care who is celebrating it's 60th birthday this year we planted a field of hope of flowers and trees in our local area recently and it is a great way to remember somone by and to help the enviroment. We have a tree with a plaque dedicated to our lost loved one and we go to the tree on anniversarys and birthday etc.

I would love to get hold of some of the garnier products that some of you have been getting free and the elle gwp to make up hampers to raffle off if any one see any in the midlands can you pm me please my boots are tiny and don't stock gwp's and don't have clearances.

Although i did get a huggies newborn starter kit for my sil at £2.50 the shelf said £5 i asked the SA to check as i had seen it although sold out at £2.50 in another store. She must have been in a mood as she said i don't need to price check it, the price is what the shelf says £5 but i asked her just to see and it came up at the reduced price.:j
If the store stocks elle items it may well have the GWP as in my store it is just on the normal shelf not on a stand advertising it as a GWp

    Hi guys,
I'm looking for trevor sorbie combinations that go through without beeps with the H&B voucher, for basically a minimum spend :p
I've tried trawling through the thread but it's not clear if some combo's have beeped but been manually overriden (no chance at all of that round here )

I would like to preferably get a conditioner with one transaction and a shampoo with another- has anyone managed to do this without getting beeps? I've found these two combos below that worked for Sally without beeps (thanks Sally :D) and was wondering if anyone has found other combo's?

I've also got a pc voucher for ts- any chance of a combo using them both that doesn't beep lol.

TIA for your help guys. :A

I used up some 2.00 tillspits today as they expire soon. First transaction I bought: hero.jpg4.49 and thishero.jpg5.99

I paid 2.49 I used 100points ACM voucher, mag voucher for free TS long hair product and 2.00 tillspit:D and no beeps!

    second transaction:
hero.jpg5.99 and thishero.jpg4.49 used the same vouchers in the first transaction and paid 2.49 again. So 4 products for under 5.00 and gained 200points :T I also got 4 JF serums free with 4 tillspits.

Couldn't see the Elle GWP. Will look for it in another store tomorrow.

I've been lurking on this thread for a while. You guys seem to get sooo many good deals from Boots and their points! I want to get into it

I've always considered it expensive! Where do I start?!?
I always used to pass Boots by too, as I thought that they were expensive!
Anyway just print off your ACM vouchers and get a few H&B mags, I sort my vouchers out now as some ACM ones can be combined with mag ones and offers running instore and I paperclip them together.

The first page of this thread that CPG does has all the current glitches. PC vouchers are talked about these are if you have joined the parenting club and again can be combined with ACM or mag vouchers to maximise points/discounts

If you meet the conditions on the voucher then surely they should override the till?
I have always bought one 'normal' TS item and a 'long hair' item and till has always beeped however after SA has read the voucher they have always said I have met the conditions so have overridden and taken of the long hair item no problems, even the manager did it on one occassion and she still let me use till spit and 100points ACM voucher too.
Voucher says 'free TS longhair item' with any purchase from TS range..not sure even if it says excludes minis either!!

    Hi Amelia's Mummy,
Yup I agree, they should override the till if I have bought thecorrect products but I have NEVER had an SA do this in Oxford!!!
I tried to use the ts voucher last week but it beeped, the SA said I must have bought the wrong items. I showed her the wording of the voucher and waved the long hair product at her lol, but she stuck to her guns and said it must be an exclusion. If I persisted I guess she may have got someone to override thetill, but then she defo would not have accepted the £2 till spit.
Just to give you a taste of what my local is like lol...On Friday I tried to get a model me shampoo using the til spit and my acm 250 points voucher-didn't even attempt the mag voucher as knew this would beep. I was told I could either use the til spit or the ACM voucher!!! SA said no way could I use 2 vouchers on one product. Talk about mean, she wouldn't even scan them to giveit a try. I said I'd leave it as it would be too expensive without using both vouchers.

Your SA's seem so lovley- may even be worth me doing a Bootsing trip to the Wirral next time there's a must have glitch on lol :rotfl:

    Hi Sammr85,

I haven't found it either lol. Will let you know if it miraculously appears in the city centre branch :p
Btw- you weren't in the city centre branch on Friday lunchtime were you? There was a lady in front of me in the queue to pay at the baby department armed with vouchers lol. Long blonde hair, large baby bump, black top and grey leggings- just wondered as there seem to be a few pregnant local Bootsers atm! I then saw the same lady in the sale sectionat Debenhams lol so could well be a mse'er :D

Tried all of the products at SS till yesterday and they all said "no" except the tube of conditioning mask(which I bought last week).
SA had to help me as I tried to cancel the transaction and till beeped!!!!
She said "only 1 voucher per transaction is allowed!".
I said "but the tube works with 2!"
She didnt believe me and said that they have been told to only accept one voucher per transaction (on any purchase)!!!
    What rubbish!
Anyway, showed her the UG glitch with 9p to pay on the mask go through fine. Dont think she was too happy!

I am getting to a stage that I cant be bothered with all the hassle of trying to buy from Boots when using vouchers, as more times than not you end up not being "allowed" to use them.

    Wee k
Money is only of any use if you can spend it!
