Hi Anic, I have just been studying your sig. Can I just say how brilliantly you have done, and so consitently.

Well done. As someone who struggles with her weight (mainly due to mobility problems) I am in awe. Congratulations :T :T

Thanks Polls for the encouragement but unfortunately I seem to have lost the willpower for the last few months now. I am still trying to get to that 13 something since the end of February. I have fallen off he wagon and just keep stuffing my face. I really need to get my mind back on track.

My OH and son are away for a boys weekend so as I am home alone I decided to go to the pictures to see Mamma Mia on my todd. The picture didn't start for another hour so found myself with time to spare and as you do I ended up in Boots!!!

Anyway, decided I just had to try the Elle McPherson glitch so put a wee miniature in my basket along with the GWP. Found some Garnier stuff on the clearance shelf so stuck two of them in my basket too (as I remembered something about these going through as 0.00. I also had the Trevor Sorbie Long Hair shampoo and conditioner but I didn't feel brave enough in case the total went so low it caused any suspicion so also bought a gorgeous bag and two bottles of irn bru.

I was getting excited when I kept seeing the "Save" and "Link Save" appearing on the till but was surprised when the total came to nearly £12.99.

The GWP had gone through free but the Garnier stuff only had £1.00 taken off the clearance price so went through at £2.40 each and not free as I had hoped.

Anyway, decided I liked the EM glitch so went back and done it again with the Trevor Sorbie voucher and another twice with the John Frieda Serums using up my till spits.

On the third attempt the young SA actually said "Oh I've done that wrong - the set has come up as £9.95 - that didn't happen the last time". She had actually forgotten to scan the miniature so took the things back out and started again. action-smiley-033.gifaction-smiley-033.gifaction-smiley-033.gif

So by the time I went to the cinema the Gorgeous Bag was full and weighed an absolute ton but it will be worth it to see my nieces faces when they get all the goodies I've bought them for not a lot of money.

Oh dear - I am rabbiting on again - sorry - I'll go away now.

p.s. I also have the Tony & Guy Magazine vouchers if anyone wants them. I won't use them.

Oh bummer - I thought the vouchers were only for Model Me range. I actually bought a bottle of their normal shampoo today because I like it and didn't realise there was a 200 point voucher for that too

Anyone finding the Boots website slow, I am logged in but it is taking ages!?!
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

    Hi pollsdolls

I also have mobility problems due to back surgery but joined a programme called lite 4 life, recommended by my GP. It is 2 hours a week for 12 weeks with an hour of discussion and an hour of exercise. It is also aimed at people with health problems and they cut your intake by 600 calories per day and advise on exercise. They allow me 1600 calories a day, which isn't too hard to keep to. I cannot believe that I have lost over a stone and am now on week 11. Still have several stone to go but it's a start. If you are interested let me know.

    With regard to Boots

I spent £34 on 3 Clinique items and got 1500 points, then another £36 on Clinique with another 1500 points + 3 free bags & 2 tillsplits.

They did not give the normal points with purchase but I have now reached over £100 on my card which will really help for Christmas. Think that I'll use them when the toys go to 3 for 2 and get presssies for the grandchildren.
