Doh !!! Sorry hun ..... yep it was PC voucher not ACM. I was so excited my fingers ran away with me ! That's the problem when you can type at 90 wpm ...... your brain follows behind !
:wall:
I bet you were! Super shop! I always feel like doing a 'victory run' after one like that...although the Boots Haul laden buggy will not allow!
ACM plus PC would have been fab though...one day!
Cheers for the clarification xxx0 -
Firstly and most importantly, my condolences to Jill and her family.
I wanted to get the extra 500 points today, my shop included -
Elle gwp FREE with a bar of soap (£3.95) - thanks to Loulounurse for discovering this
TS long hair shampoo and cond - tried extra 100 pts ACM (which was fine), also free long hair product from the mag (this beeped but nice SA put it through) and the new 200 extra points from mag pullout (till beeped again, this time SA wouldn't take it).
Also bought flight socks (£12.99) - used 300 extra points from mag AND 200 extra points ACM voucher for when you spend £10 or more on travel healthcare (don't think anyone's posted this one before) - so you can get a total of 500 points off flight socks. And no dreaded beeeeep!
Bought a couple of other things - spent a total of £33.40, received 1840 points.
I also used a 250 extra points ACM voucher when you spend over £30, that was dated two days ago - I don't know who originally posted about that but THANK YOU - must remember to do that one again!
Once again, thank you to everyone who posts on here, for your effort and inspiration! (and your kindness)

Still can't get my head round the news about Jills mum.
But Polly is right she wouldn't want the thread to stop.
I had my first bootsing for a while today.
I got 2 x kleenex tissues @ £3 (they will get plenty use here:o )
Elle Body scrub £6.25 ,no minis but I wanted the GWP
Max Factor foundation £11.95 (had £2 off MF PC voucher)
Max Factor Creme Puff powder £4.95
MF GWP
Garnier gradual tan £3.49 but thought it would be free but was charged £2.49
2 Boots wet wipes with teatree BOGOF (for hospital:rolleyes: )
2 Sensitive skin laundry liquid (half price with HC)
Spent £33.90 and got 764 pts and saved £26.91
Not great but at least its all stuff I will use.
I need to plan a No7 shop as I have £5 pc voucher and £5 off cosmetics voucher from mailing and 500pts on facial suncare.
Does the dual tinted moisturiser count as cosmetic? I have a feeling its skincare
I don't really want cosmetics:rolleyes::j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
I haven't posted on here much lately, I just couldn't find the words to say to Jill and her family about the sad loss of little Thomas and it didn't feel right to post and not acknowlege it and now the news of Jill's mum's passing too I can't put off posting any longer.
I have to say that my heart goes out to you Jill, and your family. I can't begin to imagine how devastating the events of the past few weeks have been for you all. I just wanted to say that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I hope the thought of Thomas and his Nanny looking after each other will bring you some comfort.
... for those wondering about the expert glitch/wipes 3 for £4 offer - I tried it today with the expert voucher ending in 93 and the voucher wouldn't scan. SA couldn't over-ride it for love nor money - she did try and was very obliging, even voiding off the sale and trying various combinations of vouchers/products to see what it would and wouldn't work with. Shame I didn't get a survey today she was really very good! I might drop Boots CS an email anyway and tell them just how good she is.
In the end I bought the wipes anyway as I needed some and used the voucher on other expert products. I bought a combination of 6 products varying in price between £1.99 and £2.99 and after all discounts the final total was £2.25.0 -
Hi all,
Do you need a coupon for the Elle GWP as at my local boots they have some of the Elle Mcpherson Shower Gel or something of that sort reduced down to 2.25. I will dash along and get one if Im going to get a free gift! lol

Has anyone managed to use the 250pts Model me vouchers from the H&B mag without it bleeping?
Every time I have used one, it has had to be added manually by a Manager.
This has happened even when it is the only voucher I was using (Besides the £2 haircare voucher of course)
So, has anyone just sailed through this transaction
Mine beeped today but shampoo was £4.99 (scandalous if you ask me!).
Gave her £2 off till spit, 250points acm and 250points mag!
so paid £2.99, got a fiver back in points.
Just the way we like it!:T:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -

Ta!No coupon, just going through £0.00
It doesn't go through for £0.00 on its own. I got 2 today and watched the till VERY carefully:D.
First one went thru at £9.95, 2nd then went thru *link save*, THEN, my reduced to £1 mini went thru *link save* which appears to have taken off the original £9.95.
(I think:rolleyes::rotfl:)
EDIT : perhaps someone else can confirm this? receipt doesn't help as it doesn't list the items in the order they went thru!0
