HTH
If Jack is ok during the day, let him be. We don't eat more at night, do we? :rotfl: (ignoring chocolate, nuts, crisps, wine & beer)
Jack is on the hungry baby one which is the white tin, he is getting so big sometimes I wonder if I feed him too much, everyone I meet says oh hes a big boy isnt he :rotfl: he is 17lb 14oz does that sound really big to you guys he is 24 weeks old.
cat just check the BOOTS wesbite for medised and it says it is no longer recommended for children under 2. Do you give it to your little one ?0 -

Completley forgot about that. I am nearly done so will get the next lot with that. Not even sure if the tixylix helps to be honest.
I use sma white for jack during the day and never thought you got different milk for at nite. He is only 5 1/2 months old
Yeah, my health visitor suggested I put my DS on SMA white for hungrier babies! big mistake! he was waking up every 2 hrs at night because it was so heavy, he could only take a little at a time, fell asleep and woke up again becuase he was still hungry.
I got a coupon for the good night milk and wasn't going to try it, but then when DS reached 7 months and we weren't getting any sleep and my DH works 7 days a week, I had to do something.
I give DS the good night milk as his "last feed" at 8pm, put him to bed for 8.30pm and he is usually good until 4 or 5am, which we can handle. Occasionally he wakes up at 1am and will have another bottle of good night milk ready for him but this is only if he hasn't eaten enough during day, he might get hungry at night.
Good night milk is only suitable from 6 months, so I wouldn't recommend it just yet. Have you looked at Boots ;)shelves? There are other versions of the same milk, not just cow and gate.
It is hard when you are a first time mam, me too! Everyone is full of advise but it really is what works best for you. Because something works for one person, does not mean it will work for you too, because our little darlings are all human and we are all individual.
Saying that, I love this forum because people on here are so friendly and always have good advice.
Will anyone be able to try out my potential glitch tomorrow?0 -
Thanks for that just went to webiste and read the jargon. Sounds just the thing I will get that tmrw. Its funny I asked the pharmacist in BOOTS
and she said there was nothing she could recommend for his cold and cough apart from the tixylix he already had
Cos Zoe has asthma, pharmacist made up a heavily laden saline solution which we had to drip into her nose at regular intervals to make her sneeze and clear it. Just read back and this may not be applicable LOL!
Babies are best if they can, to fight the cold (with help of Calpol etc) as it boosts their immune system. But always best to check with your GP if at al worried.0 -
