To be honest, have you ever tried wiping a Johnsons baby wipe across a painted wall? Even just a gentle dab strips off paint, and people use those on delicate baby bums! I think an awful lot of skin cleansers on the market today would have the same results, scary.
I still want to try Clinique though, so many people swear by it! I'm 26 and still have skin like a 14 year old, oily, annoying spots, blackheads, massive pores
When I was 25 my mum bought me the three step system by clinique - she brought massive bottles home from America when she was on holidays as I had been talking about it for a while.
My skin was in a terrible state. I din't get spots all through puberty, I only started to get bad skin when I was 22 or so, and they were bad. The doctor put me on antibiotics for a while to try and clear them up.
When I got the clinique I was so keen to use it. After using the soap I saturated the cotton wool with the clarifying stuff and wiped it all over my face.
I actually had to sit down on the side of the bath before I fell down and was speechless with pain as it totally burnt my skin. The next morning I looked like I had been really badly sunburnt, skin flaking all around my nose and chin.
I went into a local boots and they said that the clarifying lotion was too strong for me - Moral of the story - make sure you get the right one. It's supposed to tingle, but not create a chemical burn.
I perservered with the lower grade and I swear it was the best thing I have ever done. I use it every day and I never get spots on my face.
( I sometimes get the odd hive-like ones around my jawline in times of stress though - not cliniques fault)
People have asked me what I used and I feel like my skin is always glowing. in a good way. I love it!
I say get a proper consultation and go for it! You won't be disappointed.

Slightly OT but can I ask a stupid question for anyone who's doing the Sun vouchers? It says you need to send an SAE with 46p postage on it....
If the vouchers weigh less than 100g, it can go as a letter, which will cost 36p 1st class or 27p 2nd class. If it's more than 100g then it will be a large letter and cost 78p 1st class or 66p 2nd class. How are you supposed to get postage for 46p when it's not one of RM's prices?? Or have I got it wrong somewhere?:www: :: MFi3 ::
