Samsung 19" LCD tv faulty

turned my tv on today, 6 months old and its faulty. screen is changing from black, to white, to red/green/blue/white horizontal stripes every 3 or 4 seconds cant get nothing else on it, any ideas?
If it needs to go back does it go back to Argos where it came from, or Samsung directly?
