Hi there,
Has anyone used this to create a website?
I am trying to set up my very first website and thought this was a good offer. Free domain and hosting for a year. However when I try to enter my address, the Country & State categories only show USA and as the box is shaded, i can't delete it and add UK.
Can anyone advise me?
Or maybe there is another free domain and hosting site I could try.
Thanks

Through experience, DON'T let anyone own your domain apart from you.
They give you it free, but they have control over it. After a year when you have to pay to renew it, its either pay their prices OR move the domain. But to move the domain you then have to pay their rates to move it. They fully have control over your site and its wrong.
Its then either pay the price, or get a new domain. But then you loose all visitors because they don't know your new domain.
Trust me on this, get your domain from GoDaddy, they are really cheap, at around £7. Get your hosting from CirtexHosting, (My referal if you kind enough) get the package above the basic package and use the coupon code "forum" for 50% off.Rules, Rules, Rules .....0 -
Many thanks for your response. Will look into GoDaddy.
