Ryanair contact / Advance Passenger Information

Hi guys,

I am going to Spain in 4 weeks and have to provide the API (Advance Passenger Information) to Ryanair via the website before departure.

My wife's passport is new and because the old one had some left, it expires in January 2019.

However, the drop-down menu on Ryanair's website only goes up to 2018 !

I have tried to call the UK call centre - 'the other person has hung up' message which seems to have been a problem for months.

I have tried the Ireland call centre - got through, listening to the options, none applied, got cut off. Rang back, constantly engaged.

I have tried to e-mail Ryanair - no details on website but got a couple of names of people who seem to have worked there for a long time, no response !

AARRGHH H!!!

Should I just enter 2018 and be done with it !?

Any experience folks ?

Thanks in advance

right - forget it - it looks like you can provide this info at check in, so I presume the web submission form is only for those who are checking in online - ie no suitcases to check in.

Should be fine waiting till the airport - no choice really from Ryanair's point of view !

You should really supply the API before check-in even if you are going to check in at the airport. Ryanair have been known to cause problems for people who haven't submitted API.

I'm not sure what to suggest about the expiry date. I once accidentally put the wrong expiry date on the online check-in form and nobody noticed, although I can't really recommend doing that. It shouldn't matter but Ryanair can make a fuss about any little thing if they feel like it.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
