I have been thinking today..
I have a few expensive items that I love but dont tend to use very much.
For example last year I did a year of evening classes studying photography and I brought this amazing SLR camera (£900!) and I do love it! And I used it tons to start with I did photoshoots for my friends n there kids etc!
Now I find I only ever really used it when I go on holiday and then I dont always take it out with me cos I know its worth so much money and im scared it'll get knicked (or ill drop it or something)!!
I also have a really good compact camera which I use tons!
Although I love my SLR and I love using it when I do take pics!
I could sell it for about £600 still now and put the money towards my house savings!
What is the best thing to do!!??0 -
Advice Please!!!:)0

Hello
If you're going to do Bridal hair and can take great photos with your SLR is it worthwhile selling it? You could use it to take photos yourself (before and afters) to market yourself?
Just a thought. I have the same problem with lovely cameras and although I barely use it day to day I have taken some fab photos with it which I have decorated my house with 'saving' on expensive pictures (I had all mine developed and blown up when travelling as loads cheaper)
Good luck anyway, you're definately doing it the right way round!
TQOne day everything I earn will be mine and not the banks... ::rotfl:0 -
Thansk Travel Queen!
I have decided to sell my camera. I once though it was something I would like to do professionally thats why I brought the superduper camera! I love it but I dont "need" it. So I am going to sell and buy a another SLR I can get a good spec pentax one on ebay for about £150 so I should be able to put about £300 extra towards my savings from it!
