Fire Proof Home Safe Recommendation.... Please

I'm looking for one that I can anchor to a wall in the loft, the floors in my flat are concrete so it's probably less practical as far as fixings are concerned.
It's primarily for a couple of important documents, some very small items of sentimental value and a small amount of jewellery. It would be nice to be able to put my laptop in there when away on holiday etc. but not essential, depends on prices really.
So if anyone has had any experience of installing a safe of this nature or can recommend one I'd be grateful.
TIA :-)

It might be a silly question but is the loft "yours"?I'm looking for one that I can anchor to a wall in the loft, the floors in my flat are concrete so it's probably less practical as far as fixings are concerned.A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Most of the safes from Argos, supermarkets etc are burglar-resistent rather than fire-resistent. I've had a Sentry fire safe for a many years mainly for back-ups of software I was developing at the time - dunno if it works as I haven't had a fire... Strangely enough I bought it in a B&Q sale (think it was around £100 - probably early 90s).

Hi
I just found your post so it's probably not that helpful lol. I agree with ManatHome - I'm biased because I work for Sentry Safe but having had a play with one of those argos ones - I think a Sentry would stand up to more
