    Try Zoom or Canadian Affair.

Book early (I assume it's for next year, not this, when I would guess you are too late)

Thanks for that - unfortunately I was looking for for this summer. But as you say they are expensive. I may just have to delay the trip until later on until half term or Easter

Have you tried Zoom 'cos they sometimes bring their prices right down nearer the departure date if they have seats spare.

There are a lot of complaints about Zoom this year, business clearly isn't good and they seem to have been cancelling flights at the last moment. I would try any one else first, Air Transat or Canadian Affair who often use Thomas Cook Airlines might be better but flights in the next 6 weeks are going to be expensive, people travelling in school holiday periods tend to book 6 months ahead for the best fares. BA has a sale at the moment and if you look at the website, many of the discounts actually begin around 20th August, not the 1st Novmeber they are promoting in their advertisments, if they fly to your destination, it might be worth checking them out
