Dial-a-phone cashback experience?

Hi all -
I am tempted by a good deal from dial-a-phone online as my current Vodafone contract is up. Vodafone disconnections won't match this deal stating that they won't match a cashback by redemption offer as it is not guaranteed the other companies will pay the cashback and Vodafone will credit the airtime bill direct. They claim these cashback deals are 'dodgy'.
Has anyone any experience - good or bad - of dial-a-phone paying out on cashback by redemption offers?

Over the course of 3 contracts they have so far paid up every time without my intervention (besides posting the bill and voucher) in a timely fashion.0

Hi!
My experience of Dial-a-phone has been excellent! When you compare them to 'OneStopPhoneShop' who I also have a phone with, they are a breath of fresh air!
They are in my experience, extremely efficient, sending both a text and an email to me upon receipt of my cashback claim. I received my first postal claim in good time and I am now waiting for my second, which they have notified me of receipt (note the opposite with OSPS; you have to chase them to see if they have received it, to which they will probably say no even if they have!)
I would definitely recomend Dial-a-phone and would have no hesitation in buying another phone from them.
Hope this helps!! Good luck!Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Just received my final (Month 12) £90 payment from Dial-a-Phone for an Orange T610 deal.
No problems whatsoever and would use them again.0 -
I can't comment on how good Dial-a-Phone are at paying the cashback as I'm not at that stage yet.
However, one thing to look out for is overhanging redemptions, e.g. you sign up to a 12 month airtime contract but can't claim the final lot of cashback until month 15 and its paid to the airtime account meaning you still have to keep the contract for a couple more months. (Dial-a-Phone have now made this more explicit on their website - presumably they had their knuckles rapped by Trading Standards).
For this reason our latest phone was taken out via Mobileshop.com instead, 12 month airtime contract and last redemption at month 12 invoice by cheque.0 -

Just come to the end of my 12 month contract through Dial-A-Phone, would recommend them to pay out promptly for cashback. I had 4 vouchers and all went well.*** This Space For Rent ***0

On the dialaphone website it says they will pricematch offers from other websites. Unfortunately, the way they ask you to do this is to take out a contract and then get them to change it to match another deal. Has anyone done this with dialaphone? As the previous poster says, there are some better deals on other websites but the reliability of dialaphone seems to be by far the best. So it would be great if you could combine the two! I guess if they refused to match the other deal you could cancell within the cancellation period. Hmmm.....0

If you are thinking of price-match, then I would suggest while ordering a phone, set a delivery date of 1 or 2 weeks late and meantime if Dialaphone doesn't price match you can cancel the order. Therefore you won't have a hassle of getting the phone delivered and then returning it.0
