Worth it for the £35 fee.
Any suggestions on the best place for a short term investment??

Visit this thread for plenty of people willing to share the £100, should be able to get £90 for yourself."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0 -

its not to be.well you're at the right place - loads of things you could do....
Cancel gym - walk places (save transport costs too)
Phone - is this mobile of landline - there are excellent threads and articles on cutting cost of both - maybe dump landline and renegotiate better mobile deal with lots of cross network minutes and use that? - checkout article on cutting landline bills if you really must still have one.
Checkout voucher deals from supermarkets to decrease shopping bill
Checkout articles on getting free money / cheaper money on credit cards - sounds like you may benefit from getting CC with lowest lifetime of balance transfer rate - use this to transfer OD onto - but NEVER SPEND ON IT
Check article and spreadsheet on budgeting

Thank you, David, but what are you saying!! CANCEL GYM!! I CAN'T DO THAT!! I NEED TO GET RID OF THE KRISPEY KREMES IN ME! seriously, speaking, i actually do need the gym, i am a performer (acting/dancing) and i need to stay fit. i do walk as much as possible. i live in an area where pretty much everything is in walking distance, also i use public transport. can't drive. i only befriend ppl who own cars!! ;-)
i have done everything u have suggested but getting a credit card. i'm so scared of the words. i remember cutting my card up when i was 17, methinks!! oh darn, i may need to get rid of my credit card virginity.
hmm..maybe thats what i will do. i think i needed someone to tell me to push me to get it. hmm....
thank you again
oh i dnt have landline. only my cell phone.0 -
1Zafreen, have you looked on the Debtfree wannabe board? Lots of advice and support there - they'll have loads of ideas to cut your outgoings and reduce your interest payments. Good luck!
