Just thought you might find the EYFS website helpful - it has examples of the levels and the paperwork teachers complete:

Don't pay too much attention to the numbers, but ask the teacher if s/he has any concerns. Bear in mind that hardly any children are given a '9' in any of the areas by the end of Reception!0
