Sorry can't help with the statements etc advice (I didn't have any due to being homeless pre BR), but wanted to comment on the branded/non branded goods debate/

When me and OH found ourselves well and truely in the poo we had to start buying value and basics ranges of food, and decided to turn it into a game - when we could afford it we would buy and expensive brand of something, and the value brand, and if there was a mid price, one of those too. We would then do blind taste tests on each other (entertainment is expensive in London of an evening btw hehe). Some very interesting results were found - on the biscuit front, the very very best and tastiest biscuits we have found were the Sainsbury's Value range (Basics I think it is) especially the Digestive biscuits - the custard creams are a little smaller, but taste nicer we think that others as well, but the Digestives beat hands down, McVities, Waitrose and I think we found a couple of other types as well that were more expensive that Basics range.

One thing we would say never ever ever go near though is Sainsbury's Basics range of frozen minced 'beef' - I wouldn't feed it to an animal that was starving it was so utterly and completely disgusting. Tea is another things that isn't as good we found, for lots of reasons But we have basics range of most things, Baked Beans, Biscuits, Chopped tomatoes, pasta, rice, and they are all lovely and just as good (if not better as in the Digestives case!) than branded goods. We don't like Tesco value range baked beans though - too much sauce, not enough bean, and funny tasting sauce at that we thought.

    Hope that inspires someone :)
Do not feed the trolls please.

Debs i was led to believe that the OR only questioned(not all the time either)amounts over £200. So i went through all my bank and cc statements and made a list of date, amount, what for. Trouble was i forgot to wear my muzzle that day and said "i have a list of all amounts spent over £200":o So he said ok what are they:mad: . No you don't get all your paperwork back, thank god, what the hell do you want to see what you did to youself for:p

After bc and before IPA i did have a rib of beef once and yes we did go from the blue stripe back to branded, but never the finest range;) . Now may have to re-think and move to another store altogether:rotfl: :rotfl:

We use to buy this for our dogs, once in a while. I have to agree, the quality is so bad, even our dogs don't eat it now, this is a true fact. It smells bad and goes off very quickly.

Oh and Aldi prices have gone up as well, so look out, as they say "Spend Lots, Live a Little" or something like that?

If it would make you feel better you could photocopy your documents and store them incase they do go missing.

I'm practicing keeping my trap shut. Im trying - I really am!

I'm going to make notes - quite frankly can't afford to scan them all, however I havent used the CC's or the "interesting" bank account since January so in theory I only have to worry about the things which are on from last June. A lot of the larger amounts were stuff bought for the adapted property the council moved me to. Moving is an expensive business!! Its really just general stuff.
When I saw the judge on Friday - she said she had read my case and had no hesitation in signing the bankruptcy order. She then went on to speak about her friend which can no longer work because of the MS.

Right Dalip - I have an old muzzle. I shall wear it on the 23rd and only mumble when spoken to. I promise!
Besides I am going to sit at the comp and type in the OR's questions then hope all of you will give me the answers!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

What happens if you can't supply all the statements the OR wants?

Until recently I've had a don't open-shred-bin policy - out of sight out of mind!

Yeah, Im not the only one! I was worrying about this part aswell.
