aol /ps3 / bt business home hub setup help please

basically i need ta set my sons ps3 which is upstairs to connect to the net so he can play online gaming on it.

i have a bt business home hub router my pc is dowstairs and isint wireless am i right in thinking it dosent have to be wireless for his ps3 to work as the ps3 will pick up the signal ,also will it cause problems if hes playing online upstairs and im surfing dowstairs ,all this new stuff over my head:rolleyes:

also will aol work with the bt home hub? i aint had the nerve ta try it yet just in case i lose me connection or get probs

Ok let do one at a time,
The homehub is wired to your pc and the ps3 is connecting wireles to it? that setup would work fine.
If you have any problems connecting the ps3 to the homehub check the wireless security key.

Makeing a Homehub work on another isp would require some knowledge of programming and really isnt a great idea as you need to play with firmware.
also bt dont like it

If you really find the need to try it then try searching in google im sure you will find something.

cheers will google it when i get time,or just switch isp as id get a compatible router then might be easier
