mighty peed off with hotpoint.
after an initial repair because the heating element wore out on the dryer of the washer/dryer the damn thing then decided abot 4-6 weeks later to flood my kitchen whilst on spin cycle. the blinking thing is only 16 months old and we have taken out a £15 or so a month cover policy on it to cover the original repair.
anyways they send a blokie round 4 days before we went on holiday and he removed a blockage of colour catcher sheets [ooops, how was i to know these things clog up your drainage system? especially as ive never noticed that some are missing after the wash cycle as chops likes to empty the machine and put them used ones in the bin].
anyways on the sat before we went away [the monday] i pop the white washing [bubbas vomit cloths, cardigan, sleeping bag, cot sheet, etc] in the wash and the machine tries to start the cycle and jams.
ive not used it, no need to, since the repair man on the thursday
i cant open the door. i need my washing.
frantic call to indesit helpline and they can get someone out on the tuesday we are away.
)
manage to get the door open by turning off at the mains and waiting ten mins. take washing to my mate next door who washes it for me bless her.
call them today. they can get someone out next monday and have put us down for a cancellation should one come up. good'o. until i tell them im moving saturday. they cant come to the new address only this one and i cant cancel at this address until the day we move so if we dont get a cancellation then i have to call them next monday and rebook for another appt which will take probably another week!!
i am furious. it is obvious to me that previous blokie who removed the blockage [which the woman on the phone slyly bollokd me for today] hasnt replaced something properly [a pipe? a wire?] im disabled and cant be lugging loads of laundry down the laundrette [didnt tell them me mums doing the washing for us] and we have two kids of 2 and a half and 6 months.
why cant they just put on their system to come to the new address as of monday?
jesus wept i could have cried when they gave me this bull.

How fascinating to find out what your white washing includes. Just for the record I did a white washing today which consisted of 4 towels (2 hand and 2 bath) some sports socks, a couple of pairs of white pants and a fitted undersheet. Tbh the undersheet is actually cream but I think I got away with it.
With regards to your problems, seeing as it was your fault originally and your mum/best mate are doing your washing for you in the short term I don't think you are really justified in being "furious".0
