awkward roofing job

Hi all
very much a lurker on these boards but hoping for some advice.
I live in the house that jack must of built! our bathroom is in the middle of the 1st floor and has part of the ceiling under tiled roof and we have a small flat roof 1.5metres by 7metres approx. The flat roof has 2 skylights in it - 1 above the batroom and 1 above the ajoining corridor.
The skylightabove the bathroom is leaking and the bit going up to the actual window is covered in mildew so has probably been leaking for a while.
I would like to put in a as big as possible skylight / velux that opens, as the bathroom has no other windows or ventilation and as the leak is very apparent now given all the recent rain this job is now becoming urgent.
The roof is awkward to get to as the house is a funny shape - OH got up there other day with ladder but getting down was such a performance - I realise the proffessionals will be much more adept.
Given the small area of the flat roof does anyone know if this is feasible - will I get a buch bigger skylight than the current 60cm squared there now, and if anyone has an idea of cost would be much appreciated.
I have contacted 4 roofing firms and am waiting for call backs.
