Chives would be ok.....they're kind of onion flavoured. I personally wouldn't go with mint, but whatever floats your boat!

Isn't it a matter of creativity? I could envisage pasta with stir-fried slivers of lamb, chopped mint and peas...... add a drop of cream and could be delicious. Chives any time, but also a little rosemary and of course oregano. Sage and chorizo should work, and what about a pasta with chicken and tarragon? Or fresh dill and salmon? I tend to use whatever is there in the garden at any given moment. Sadly my flat parsley crop has been demolished by the slugs, or that would have been another one to use.

Yes, that one too! Another one that went slugwards in my garden this year, but that would definitely be great in pasta dishes.

You could toss some cooked cooled pasta with feta, cherry toms, cucumber, red onion and some mint and olive oil for a Greek pasta salad type thing.

Oregano is nice with pasta too, or dill is lovely if you're making a creamy sauce with something like salmon. Thyme is good in tomato sauces, or bolognaise. Parsley is always nice, especially if you're doing a simple lemony/olive oily sauce. Really, most herbs will go with pasta, it's just about what else you're putting in there too.
