:mad: I have waited in all day for delivery of a box of frozen food. Just phoned the depot (businesspost) at 8pm to find out the driver has gone home and left the box as he " ran out of time". It is clearly marked FROZEN FOOD on the box. I dont want it now, it was sent off on monday morning and its HOT up here , so will be pure salmonella by the time I get it on wed. Who do I complain to ? WHo is responsible ? What should I do next ? :mad:

Contact whoever you bought the item from your contract is with them not the delivery company.

I think you have to go back to who bought from and complain about courier service. I would say do not accept the goods as you have health grounds.

My Mum has sent us meat parcels last two Christmas's and they have been delivered well chilled on the day they have said and all well.

If it's still frozen whats the problem? Why did you assume you'll die if you eat any of it in your first post above?

You had better eat something to test your original hypothesis. If we don't hear from you again we will presume you were correct with your initial fears.

because if I refreeze half defrosted meat....we will all get salmonella ! We had some (mince) for tea. Watch this space...If we survive I will type on. If not , then are there any mediums in here ??
