2 bed apt in Vilamoura/Albufeira wanted 14-28th August

We are trying to find a 2 bed apt in either Vilamoura or Albufeira from 14th August for 14 nights (flights already booked). Originally we thought of booking a private apt but most are 20-30 minute walk from restaurants/ marina in Vilamoura and I haven't been able to find too many in Albufeira. We don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants/beach but nothing more than that really.

As we have two boys (9 and 13) I'm now starting think that private apartments may be a little quiet for them and that they would probably prefer more of tourist complex where there is likely to be more going on, but I can't seem to find any available with 2 bedrooms in a central location.

I've looked on all the usual rental sites, ownersdirect, holidaylettings, etc and have searched travelrepublic and hotel comparison sites, but nothing under £1800 for two weeks.

Does anyone have any bright ideas, hotel/late availability websites I could check please? Many thanks.
