Thanks Fran. I've just got new pc , didn't manage to save my setting, downloaded Thunderbird to new pc, but need to set up an account, can't remember settings.
Thanks again0 -
Tools/account settings, you'll need the incoming server eg. pop.ntl.com or pop.mail.ntl.com or whatever - you should have had the info from ntl when you had your last account?Torgwen..........

For anybody else transferring to a new PC, there's a good little free backup program called MozBackup . You can backup your Firefox bookmarks and your Thunderbird email/newsgroup settings and all your data to files, stick them onto a CD or pendrive, then restore them onto a new machine so you carry on from where you left off.0
