A few years ago I took out a Barclaycard Alpha, guaranteed fixed 9.9% . Yesterday I had a letter informing me the rate as from next month will be 14.9%. Any one else with this card feel as furious as me. ? When I phone all I got was 'it's company policy' and 'we have had many other complaints'

I got a letter saying mine and my wives card have gone up to 19.9%, time to clear and leave!0

As I have a fixed 2.9percent bt rate for the life of the current debt and I obviously dont touch the card they can increase there apr to 1000%.0
