USA Visa Double-Check

Hi,

I do realise I'm panicking a bit here, but can someone confirm for me that I DON't need a Visa for the USA please?

I will be in the USA for only 2 weeks.

I have a UK passport issued in the year 2000

It DOES appear to be “machine readable” (has 2 lines of letters, numbers and “<<<<<<<<<” on the personal info page)

It does NOT have a chip.

It does NOT have a digital photo.


There seems to be loads of requirements, and I know I'm being a bit thick, but I don't think I need one. Help anyone please?

Your passport is fine, so assuming you meet the requirements of the Visa Waiver Program (e.g. you don't have a criminal record) you will not need a visa.

You can use the Visa wizard http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/visa_wizard.html to make sure you meet all the requirements.
