Florida Gulf Coast

Hi i am off to hopefully sunny Florida for xmas (works out cheaper than overspending on food and pressies here) after a week in Orlando we are going to stay on the gulf coast any idea of nice hotel or where to stay? Would prefer beachfront hotel and must have a pool preferably heated.

not many heated pools but green with envy I lived p/t on gulf coast for couple yrs and loved it , try st petes beach area loads of hotels and motels there. about 1/2 hr from Tampa airport be warned you need cash for the luggage trolleys at tampa.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

We stayed at the Edgewater in Naples and had a lovely time. Right on the beach with a nice pool too.0
