I wanted to bid on something and the seller had low feedback score, so I was curious why. The answer - because he got conned by this:

I might go have a bid now, wasn't their fault this conman's feedback was not erased when he decided Ebay wasn't the place for him. Hmm...

Can Ebay do anything about 'people' like this? Surely it's a police matter stealing on such a large scale.

Looking at the scammers account, when you check the feedback you see this as one of the products they sold previously. Surely that should have rung some bells! All her early buyers have low purchases, and previously they were a buyer only.
You are right though, there people should be tracked down... and shot!

If you look at the bid history, it seems the 2 bidders who pushed the price up know each other, and I bet know the seller. They must be working in cahoots with each other. What a total Waster!
