Hi

We are going to Turkey for our honeymoon in November and would like to know what currency is best to use,

We have been told that Euro's, Lira are both accepted and would like to which one will go further?

thanks

there are threads on the site discussing this - depends where in Turkey you are going - have a look at the threads and see what posters say about the location you are going to - I went to Kalkan and took a few lira and then used sterling to change up to lira when I was there - you could also consider a credit card like Abbey Zero which does not charge for purchases (although does for withdrawals) but make sure you pay it off each month

You'll get a much better exchange rate locally than in the UK, that said it always drops in the winter, Here todays roe is 2.45 YTL, winter will drop to around 2.20 YTL.
