Ebico Customer debating fixed tarriff
Hi folks,
I have recently moved to Ebico for which I haven't had a bill yet. The gas is around 4.8p per unit for us and the elecy is around 17.8p per unit. We are an economy 7 user and have yet haven't had a winter in the house.
My question is, would it be worth moving to a capped tarriff like ML keeps banging on about? The only thing is the ones I have been finding are around 30 - 40 % more than what we are paying per unit!
I am looking in the wrong places?
Advice apppreciated
Thanks

All of the fixed rate deals are more expensive than current prices as they have to factor in any future rises in the wholesale price of gas. It is a gamble on both sides , you and them, you have to guess how much gas will go up in the period of the fixed rate.0 -
Yes night rate is around 4.8p per unit, Thanks for the advice though.0

...The gas is around 4.8p per unit...
Ebico they charge all their customers the same rate for every kWh of gas has they use - 2.86p inc VAT per kWh

I don't see any electricity rates as high as 17.8p per kWh either - even on E7 tariff

Yeah maybe its electric night rate as gas is 2.86p0
