I'm a little confused - how did they get the £40 you say they kept?
How did they contact you about paying again? Did they think you had purchased the laptop on their credit scheme and were due to start making payments?0 -
hello, it was going to be a credit agreement but i paid outright, then after many threatening letters asking for payments of £40 or else, i sent them £40 to keep them off my back whilst i had to ask my bank to ask to re issue bank statements and a copy of the cheque made payable to them as proof , but this took a few weeks, so it was a goodwill gesture to keep them from sending me more threatning letters, regards sharon calvert0

issue a small claims courty summons and claim the interest too
they will pay up soon enough0 -
I think Kill Bill has summed it up - if they are ignoring any other form of contact, write them one final letter saying that they have 14 days to resolve your query and send it recorded delivery. If they don't respond then take them to small claims court.0
