I need some help, I plan to take my children up to Madame Tussauds etc using our Walkers Brit trip vouchers. :j
The thing is I've never been to London on the train before and never been up there without another adult.:o
Could someone please to tell exactly how to get to the Madame Tussauds area via the train and underground from Broadstairs in Kent, I've "googled" 'til I'm dizzy and can't find anything that helps a thicky like me.

Try using the London Transport Journey Planner - it will give you step-by-step instructions. You can search from Broadstairs (in the "station or stop in" box you'll also need to write Broadstairs as well as in the "From" box). Put your destination as Baker Street (that's the nearest underground station).0

I think the nearest tube station to Madamme Tussauds is Baker Street.
It seems that trains from Broadstairs arrive at Victoria. From there you go one stop on the Northbound Victoria Line to Green Park and then change onto the Northbound Jubilee Line to Baker Street.
If you arrive at a different mainline station post here and I'll look at an alternative. No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -

Madame Tussauds is really not great. We have a Tussauds pass and went for about an hour, there's not much to see really. It's very much full of foreign tourists, as I guess the Brits won't go back. Is there anywhere else you can go?
As for getting from Broadstairs, Tussauds itself is literally next to Baker Street tube station.
The easist thing then is a train into Charing Cross, which is on the Bakerloo line, which goes to Baker Street (northbound).
If you go to Victoria (most trains do) then you would take Victoria Line to Oxford Circus then Bakerloo to Baker Street.0 -
Thanks guys you've been a real help!!
We will obviously be going to other places while were up there but we need to get there first. My kids have never been to London and I haven't been for years, so I feel it's something that has to be done.0
