Small Llandudno Hotel wanted

We need a couple of night's accommodation in Llandudno in November. We are going to a wedding and the reception is at the St George's Hotel. To stay there would be a minimum of £110 per room per night. Can anyone recommend a more economical place to stay within a short walk of the St. George's? I have looked on Trip Advisor but, apparently, the reviews are not to be trusted!!

My daughter (with her school class year) is staying in a b and b next week in llandudno. The staff and pupils who stayed there last year said it was really nice (two of the staff are friends of mine). The rate seems to be £32ppn for 2 nights. Sorry I don't know the area to know how far it is from the wedding reception hotel, but you could probably enquire or look up the postcodes/maps to see.

Also noticed when looking for the hotel my daughter is staying in that there is a premier inn in LLandudno0 -
Thanks for that, it looks really nice. I have a map of Llandudno and Church Walks doesn't look (at least on the map!) too far from the St Georges. I have already looked at the Premier Inn and that seems quite a way out of Llandudno."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Church walks to St Georges Hotel isn't far at all. It shouldn't take you more than 5 or 10 minutes to walk it along the promenade past the pier, taxi shouldn't be more than a few pounds.
The Premier Inn is actually in Llandudno Junction and not really walking distance, so you would need to get a taxi back there after the reception. It's just off the A55 too, and not very scenic. Somewhere near the sea front sounds much better if you have free time, plus the tram station is on Church Walks, too, which takes you up to the summit of the Orme.0 -
Try the Headlands, best view in Llandudno, stayed there last year.
Alternatively the Lansdowne, Abbey Road stayed there many times over the years although it has recently changed hands.

Thanks for the last two replies. I have already looked at the Lansdowne as some other family members have booked in there. We would have preferred a sea view and have considered a few hotels on North Parade too. I'll have a look at the Headlands now! Thanks again."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Probably too late for the OP, but we had a wonderful stay at Adcote House B&B a few weeks ago, it's handy for all that Llandudno has to offer, lovely rooms, the best breakfast I've ever had, and the owners are helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Lexxxx in Llandudno few years ago, which has changed hands since then.
The magnificent menu at that time included a choice of just three sweets:
1/ tinned fruit salad and ice cream; or
2/ tinned fruit salad; or
3/ ice cream0 -
