Blocked print heads maybe try doing a nozzle clean, or non-genuine ink can
screw up printers, unless you swap each time i.e Non-genuine then genuine..0 -
cleaned it - not that, so i guess i have screwed the printer up with my cheap ink......whoops - better get some genuine one in and see if that makes a difference - now, where can i buy cheap epson c46 ink please?
thanks0 -
It can take a few cleans, try it another couple of times and see if that helps.
I gave up using non-Epson inks on my C62 a while ago. I ended up using up so much ink during the nozzle cleans that they became a false economy.0 -
..I once forgot to take some cellophane off the cartridge....!!!Jertzy x

Have you done a printer test page? If so was that in colour or just blue? If it was in colour I think you possibly have a setting wrong somewhere in the application you're printing from. If it was blue I think the heads are most likely blocked.
I use third party inks in my Epson Photo 830 and they do block from time to time. My tip to get them clean is to buy a tin of Isopropyl Alcohol and spray that on the cleaning pads. Make sure you open the windows in the room before spraying as it smells.
I think I got my 400ml tin from https://www.cpc.co.uk. I also use it for cleaning my glasses - works like a dream.
I hope this helps.
Cheers, Steve.0
