Barclaycard 0% end date

Hi all,

I have a 0% BT on my barclaycard, to which they state on the statement "To Aug 2008". I rang up their Customer services line, and asked for the date in august it should be paid by.To which I was told (after him looking it up) that it would be "The end of August".

Can anyone confirm this with BT offers they've had? as to me "To Aug 2008" seems like it's up to the 1st August, but obviously would be nice if it was the end of August.
I will probably ring again later in the week to double check and get the details of the person I speak to just in case.

  • When are your statements issued? Check with Barclaycard if your promotion ends on the date of your August statement. That's generally the way most cc companies work.

Right. Irrespective of what anyone tells you here, it's theTs & Cs, which you're signed up to, which count. I would definitely phone again and ask for the expiry date. You can avoid the dreaded 0870 number if you ring 01604 234234 ;)

Thanks.... I've had my barclaycard for over 8 years, so T's & C's (if they've sent any out recently), are probably long gone.
I rang on the 0800 number for my platinum card ;) Anyway, the woman confirmed that it is the Payment due date in August that is when it needs to be paid, and if they receive the payment on or before that date then it won't incur any interest. (and I took her name too).
