MENORCA!! Wheres nice and quiet?

Me and my good lady are off to Menorca for a week late August and we were wanting a nice quiet holiday and just wondering if any of you good people can point us in the right direction?
We quite like the look of the Cala Galdana and Macaralletta area on the South West side where some of the beaches look stunning but not sure if these will be really crowded during the school holidays.
I'm 38 and she's 28 - a nice quiet beach and a few bars will do us.

Cala Galdana is absolutely perfect - the Sol gavilanos (sp?) hotel is built into the hillside and has gorgeous views from the top, the beach is just lovely.
Maccarella and Macarelletta have nothing there but the beach and a little beach cafe - they are down a couple of miles of hair rasing dirt tracks!
My best advice is to hire a car and get out and about, Mahon is nice for a visit, as is Cuitadella.
We usually stay in Calan bosch but that is quite a busy resort, although nowhere on Menorca is rowdy - my daughter is out there at the moment and due to fly back tomorrow.

It's a lovely island and you have to go up mount toro - the views are astounding - nowhere takes more than an hour to drive to.

Really quiet, the beach doesn't get too busy either...plus there are a couploe of other small coves, on the road towards Punta Prima that can be even quieter, especially the one at Las Lomas.

We stayed in Cala 'n' Porter 2 years ago it is only small but has everything you need / want. The beaches are fantastic. We went in June and it was really quiet.
It is a bit of a walk down to the beach due to steep steps, but you can take the wallytrolley !! (train)
