France 3 Days 2 Nights Help!

Hi

we are thinking of going france on one weekend, we are thinking of going friday morning and coming back sunday night

can anyone help me in finding a tried and tested hotel, something near central paris and that i can book direct as its cheaper.

even if its far as long transport easily accessabile.

also a transport method to paris that good quick and cheap

i could used expedia but its just too expensive that way, booking direct is cheaper i think

    It would help a little if you gave your starting point.

    Anyway, if you are anywhere near London check the Eurostar site: they do packages (train and hotel) that are good value, but book at least 14 days before you intend to travel.

    If you are adventurous, just arrange transport and find a small hotel on the spot. Go past Bastille (a metro stop like Charrone) and you will be in a district with lots of affordable possibilities.

    Have you thought about camping there is a very good campsite near paris with mobile homes, tents, cabins etc and the price includes ferry crossing will try and do link

    not sure if that will work but have priced for two adults end of july and it is around £340 including ferry for a two bedroom mobile home with decking!!!
    I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.

    We went to Paris earlier this year and stayed at the holiday inn express this was in the Kremlin Bicetre part of Paris so not too central (about 5 miles from gard du nord) but as you just ride the tube/tram/train on the same pass it was easy enough to get about, the tube was about 1/2 mile away but we managed ok even with elderly grandparent and young son. Also free breakfast was ok
    You can book direct with holiday inn too
