One way ticket London to Sydney price?

Can anyone say what the rough price for a single ticket to Australia should be for the end of July - I was expecting about £500 but I'm struggling to find for less than double that.

Presumably you've checked STA Travel & AUStravel

Also consider flying with Korean Air via Seoul or from an Eastern European airport and buy a low costs airline ticket to whereever in Eastern Europe you end up.

BUT you are wanting to book late at a popular time of the year, so don't be surprised if you can't make the sums add up.

And as someone suggested - check the costs of a return ticket. They tend to have more restrictions on them and so can work out cheaper than a single ticket
